With an audited circulation of 4,797 industry members, SPLASH! reaches all major professionals in the pool industry including pool builders, contractors, designers, engineers, service technicians, retailers, councils and local authorities, architects, specifiers, hotel managers, schools and universities, leisure centres, water parks, manufacturers, distributors, swim schools, hydrotherapy pools and all allied trades.

Audited Publications

Some publications can make claims about how many people read their magazines, but only audited publications can prove how many magazines made it to the readers.

Audited publications have their circulation checked by an independent circulation organisation such as the Circulations Audit Board (CAB).

A CAB audit verifies the total average distribution of a publication over a defined audit period. Every copy within the defined six or twelve month period is verified to produce the Average Net Distribution of an issue. The audit verifies and reports the average net distribution per issue.

There are two CAB audit periods, April to September and October to March.

According to the latest CAB report (for the period ending September 30, 2011), SPLASH! has a circulation of 4,766. For more information on audited publications go to www.auditbureau.org.au.

Disk: CD, and DVDs accepted.Email: PDFs accepted up to 10Mb only.
File formats: Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) – Please prepare all PDF’s as specified by the 3DAP guideline. Visit www.3dap.com.au for detailed instructions.
Other formats: InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator. Make sure all fonts are included and all images are in CMYK mode. Illustrator files must have all fonts converted to outlines/paths.We do not accept ads in Word, PowerPoint, Publisher or any Microsoft software.
Images: Minimum of 300dpi at 100% scaling. Line Art images minimum of 1200dpi at 100% scaling. All Images must be in CMYK mode. Image file formats should be TIFF or composite EPS and should not be compressed.
Fonts: We accept Postscript fonts only, include both printer and screen fonts. We do not accept True Type Fonts. PDF files are to have fonts embedded. Fonts should not be stylised.
Proofs: A colour proof must be supplied with all ads. We will not accept responsibility for the printed result if a proof is not supplied.
